Who We Are
E KOMO MAI - WELCOME!
The Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Hawai'i (RPCVHI) connects RPCVs living in Hawai'i through our website, ongoing activities, and Facebook page. We offer several opportunities to socialize and also offer local activities that align with Peace Corps' Third Goal- to bring the world home.
Our annual events incude: an annual business meeting during Peace Corps week, an annual picnic at Magic Island, monthy pau hanas (happy hours) across the island of Oahu, annual picnics on "The Big Island", and an annual Oktoberfest fundraiser, the main support for our Aloha Grants and Aloha Care packages.
Our fundraising efforts- the annual Oktoberfest fundraiser, RPCVHI baseball caps, reusable grocery bags, and RPCV International Calendar Sales- all fund our Aloha Grants and Aloha Care packages which support currently serving PC Volunteers from the state of Hawai'i.
We join with local organizations for beach cleanups during Earth Day events April and have participated in the Helping Hands Warehouse, a community clearing house to help our "in transition" population here in Hawai'i.
The Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Hawai'i (RPCVHI) is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, a domestic registered domestic non-profit organization with the State of Hawai'i, and an affiliate member organization of the National Peace Corps Association.
