Advocacy
RPCVHI has an advocacy team that works with the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) to advocate on behalf of future, current and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. Hawaii is very fortunate to have four Congressional Representatives who are definitely pro Peace Corps, working tirelessly across the aisle for continued support of the Peace Corps. The National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) advocates for and contributes to the continued improvement and expansion of the Peace Corps. The NPCA Advocacy web page is a source of excellent information on how to "TAKE ACTION". Advocacy team members have visited Washington DC for the NPCA's Day on Capitol Hill. Members meet up with State Congressional Representatives. Click here to TAKE ACTION! |
