Mahalo to Timothy Golden, Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room and certified Cicerone®, for selecting three excellent Oktoberfest beers for our virtual tasting party.

Golden Road/Spaten Oktoberfest 5.4% abv,  a perfect modern Fest style beer

Schonram Gold Fest Bier 6% abv, we only get once or twice a year if we are lucky

Aventinus Eisbock 12% abv  - once a year release and an out of this world experience

The cost for RPCVs: $13.48 + tax (price includes a 10% discount) = $14.12

The Village Bottle Shop is holding 20 sets of these three beers for RPCVs. Shop address and hours are below.   When you purchase your beers ($14.12), let the shop know you are a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer.

Because the pandemic has disrupted current PCVs service overseas and our lifestyles, RPCVs may participate in the Virtual Oktoberfest just by purchasing the beers and/or Brats and take the purchases home to enjoy in the comfort to their own homes.  Then join  us online on October 16.

Our hope for Oktoberfest 2020 is to support local businesses, have some virtual fun, and maybe, raise a few more dollars for the Aloha Grants and Care package fund for future PCVs from Hawaii.
