Connecting RPCVs living in Hawai'i
We invite you to join the RPCVHI group. As a member of RPCVHI, you will join our RPCV network, and receive messages announcing special events and upcoming community volunteer and social activities throughout the year. We try to reconnect RPCVs living in Hawaii through our local RPCV group. Currently, our primary database maintains more than 200 living on Oahu.
Since 1961, 1342 Hawaii residents have served in the Peace Corps, with more than 34 currently or recently serving in 20 countries around the world.
It is easy to join via this website. Annual dues are $20 for an individual RPCV membership; $30 for family membership. RPCVHI Membership dues cover administrative costs and Aloha Grant fundraising costs. Fifty per cent (50%) of membership fees cover our Website (Wild Apricot Software) fees, Annual meeting and Annual picnic set up costs and office supplies for member mailings. The other fifty per cent (50%) of membership dues is allocated to the Aloha Grant /Aloha Care package funds.
If you prefer, you can send a personal check, payable to RPCVHI or Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Hawaii, and mail to RPCVHI, P.O. Box 29462, Honolulu, HI 96820-9998.
If you are an RPCV living on the Big Island, Maui County or Kauai, and would like to show support for our organization, your membership dues (100%) will go directly to our Aloha Grant and Aloha Care Package fund. Our Aloha Grant and Aloha Care Package funds are directed to currently serving PCVS, priority to PCVs from the State of Hawai'i.
RPCVHI members are automatically members of the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) at the basic level, which is FREE.
If you choose to join NPCA at higher membership levels ($55 or higher), please join NPCA via the NPCA website /(https://www.peacecorpsconnect.org/auth/signup).
